"President Obama met the Queen of England, and gave her an iPod as a gift. When British Prime Minister Gordon Brown was here, Obama gave him a DVD box set. So, it looks like he's saving the big gift, the Nintendo, for the Pope." --Jay Leno

During his first trip to Iraq yesterday, President Obama "elicited cheers and thunderous applause from American troops" as he thanked them for their service and underscored his commitment to withdrawal by 2011. Many Iraqis also "spoke approvingly of Obama," compared to President Bush's final visit when he had a shoe thrown at him. –The Progress Report

"Hey, happy birthday, former Vice President Al Gore, who is 61 years old. And besides being Al Gore's birthday, it is also the 116th anniversary of the invention of the zipper, both of which played a major role in the Clinton Administration." --Jay Leno

"But this is a fascinating story. This C.E.O. at General Motors, largest corporation in the world, most powerful corporation in the world and they said, 'Okay, you know, we'll do business with you guys, but you, take a hike.' But they gave him $20 million to step down. And I'm thinking well, we should have tried that on Bush." --David Letterman

"Fox News launched a new editorial website today that is based solely on reporters' opinions, not on the facts of the stories themselves. They're calling the site Fox News." --Jimmy Fallon

Game wardens in Vermont were fairly suspicious of a trophy buck that Marcel Fournier, 19, had shot. It wasn't a buck, but rather a doe. So how did it come to have a 10-point rack on its head? Fournier had bolted it to the slain deer's head, and had a photo taken with him and the "buck". When confronted, Fournier admitted the deed. "He used epoxy and lag bolts recessed into the rack," said game warden David Gregory." There were enough people with experience around here who could see that [it was fake]," he said, and turned him in. Fournier was assessed a $400 fine, jailed for 10 days, and lost his hunting license for at least three years. (Burlington Free Press) –This Is True
